The only place I can see where they may have problems is the PI couplers, nornally these are around 300v with very large swings.

In my amps with all 225p's I use solen fastcaps for the PI couplers, .
FWIW I was just inside a VHT Pitbull Ultralead that runs close to 500V on the plates, and it had ALL 225p's

The best sounding amps Ive built so far hve been using the 6ps. some sound better than others on the clean channel, or the overdrive, but the Ps sounds good on both. check it out.
