240V filament trans...

Post by Homebelly »

I'm in the process of putting together 2 BOM's.
One is for a JTM45/100..
The other is for another D-Style, probably a 183, but i'll probably be looking into using KT66's.
My choice will come down to how much money i will have in March 2012.
Any ways..
I'm in New Zealand and i'm having trouble finding a transformer to power the relays. I have found a couple of 110V options, but the 240V option is proving harder to find.
Is any one able to give me a link..?

The chinese mafia..?

I give that a look see...
I've been looking at classic tone iron.
Some of the fender style PT's have a 6.0V tap on them.
At this stage i'm planning on 4XKT66's so i'm looking at a PT that will give me about 320 on the plates. If that doesn't work out i might go with KT77's..
Failing that it will have to be 6L6's or EL34's.
Does the out put transformer have any issues with seeing KT66's before it? I'm thinking of going with a marshall 100 OT..

Cheers..
