Have any of you used a Delta Pro 15" speaker with a D-clone?

I've listened to the Delta Pro12 clips and read numerous TAG reviews of speakers.
Currently I am using a Red,White and Blues and also a Cannabis Rex with a Dumble inspired amp. It's my Tweed Overdrive Special amp.
I like the RW&B the most but it lacks some high end detail. The CR seems to have more of the high end but it's not a real smooth high end, IMO.

Can't speak about the DP 15", but the DP 12" also lacks some high end. I don't appreciate that speaker with a Dstyle amp.

IMO..It really depends on the generation..
I personally don't like them in the later high plate amps w/220K trigger as they can be a bit lifeless on the top end and like others notice lack detail there.. However the earlier say 2nd Gen (low Plate) amps with funky OD entrance which tend to be more mid range concentrated they don't sound half bad.. If say you like to retain that bright character in OD on the earlier generations then don't use it..If however you want to tame some of that bright mid range quality then it seems to do this fairly well.. If you do decide to use it in say an earlier generation style D-amp then I would definitely use a 500pf treble cap in the clean tone stack..You can also open up the GNFB and let the amp run without the shrill factor killing you (These amps sound and run better to me with less NFB anyway).. If you like that brighter tone then try the EV-15L or D-130..All this is truly my opinion..
Good Luck!!

There's no replacement for the EVM speakers, save money and grief and get the real deal. JBLs and Altecs can sound great too but they're not as bullet proof and just as expensive (if not more so). The JBLs have a 4" voice coil; your high end content is coming from the aluminum dust cover. The EV's (12&15 both) are designed for musical instruments with a 2.5" voice coil.
The delta pro A's are also 2.5" but are a little darker, they probably loose something achieving the 800W power rating.
Used EV's are not a lot more than new Emis.
