Now it finally looks complete, I know it isn't millimetre perfect but I will adjust soon enough, I'm just so happy to have my vision finally fulfilled. I looked at loads of Dumble amps and combos and this now has elements that I like from a lot of them.
I can tell you, trying to track down diamond cloth in the UK was very hard, but as usual, and as history often tells us, the boys from over the pond responded
Taylor Cox and Amplified Nation got me an off cut - only needed 15" x 15" - and mailed it to me - all in a few days and for a few bucks. Great guy - lucky USA having people like that.
I am playing this amp every day now, through the Dlator, and loving it. Now I get to enjoy looking at it too, thanks to helpful members on here
