Foot switchable fx loop
I was thinking of putting a relay on the send and return to cut out the loop when I didnt need it.To hush the popping should I use a capacitor across the switch or would it be better to use the high ohm resistors like on the PAB(22M) and mid boost(4.7M)?
Re: Foot switchable fx loop
High ohm resistors work - you can actually get fancy with this and diode from your OD relay to the loop relay so it only comes on with the OD.

Re: Foot switchable fx loop
I am finally getting around to do this and I am going to wire the relay as the bypass switch is in this:

Where should I put the pop resistors?

Re: Foot switchable fx loop
Diode across relay coil is enough. If you want add a cap across the switch going to ground.
Other than that use a well filter supply.

cool,easy enough! thanks chris
Re: Foot switchable fx loop
I wired my bypass switch like this and it doesn't pop when switched.
