Not to be a kill joy. Is the rotating base removable?
I tried my amp cradle on a lazy susan until I realised it takes a very large work area (kitchen table) to be able to freely spin it and not have to lift and reposition when working on a large chassis. It wasn't pratical for daily use.
My other issue was it would want to spin.
Does the base have detents or locking stops to prevent it from rotating in the event of a weight shift or an uneven surface?

I'm more interested in that chassis ODS with fender slide switch holes where did you get that?
