His schematics on this site are more along the lines of the standard d-style fare here, I believe. The only schematics I know of for his production models come in the head cab when you buy one. I would imagine the TweedyVerb like models have low plates in them. I don't own one - YET. I am working on it. I sent a 5E3 head to him a while back to have him trace down a hum that I could not solve. He said it would probably come back with a simplified Tweedy inside someday. I'm lucky to have him as a buddy - even though he got me hooked on this solder huffing stuff....... The Dust models have that two knob stack that has one tone knob and a rotary switch that does some resistor and cap stuff on V1. I just love reaching for the "Tone" knob. They aren't low plates but that leaner tone stack must be Strat friendly somehow.

I would say out of all the different generations and variations I've built the low plate 2nd generation #13 inspired is hands down the go to amp for me for Strats and Teles and any slide work..

Following close behind is the low plate classic..

Humbuckers sound best to me in the high plate Skyliners in later non HRM generations (Although Strats not bad) just not the same IMO..

yeah i'm mostly a strat/tele player, and found that although good sounding, most of the models and mods performed here are not suitable to my raw blues style. i like 100ks in v1 and 220/150 on od too, a little smoother. redplate amps sound great with strats. unfortunately, i live in the patagonia, argentina, and it's expensive shipping to this place.
