Is it ok moving the Standby switch to the front on 124 build

Post by Joost »

I am making the panels for a 124 build with built in dumbleator, so I can't use a standard chassis. I would like to use the opportunity to move the standby switch to the front.

Will that be ok? I hear these ODS are very sensitive to lead dress, hence the question.

I think that is a more viable option.
I like the fact that Two Rock does that.

Sometimes it's hard to reach behind the amp to turn on.
Why they ever did that is beyond me.

Just follow good lead dress and route the wires carefully.

Don't let that smoke out!

My 183 clone has it on front and I like it there.
Wife: How many amps do you need?
Me: Just one more...
