I had an earlier post re: my D'lite 22/33 OT transformer. It has no switch to go between 22 Watts and 33 watts. I've been told the transformer was basically a 35 watt Vibrolux transformer and if I run the amp at 16 ohms into an 8 ohm speaker cab I can get the 33 watts with 6l6's. Sounded great to me.
I called Heyboer who made the OT at that time and talked to the VP and gave him the info on the OT: 8K Vibro 4-8-16 HTS8815 9960703. He told me
that my OT was an 18 watt Marshall style one. with the 4-8-16 ohm taps. He said he made another one that was a HTS8815-1 that was a Vibrolux type with secondary taps to switch between the 22 and 33 watts. He told me he was a builder not a tech and wasn't much help with my tech questions.
My amp was built from an early kit, completely stock. Can I still run at 33 watts using the impedance mismatch on the 18 watt OT? Is there a way to check the actual wattage of this OT to be sure its 18 and not 35 watts?

Don't know if you're aware of this or not, but Normster -- who replied to your other thread -- is the guy who worked with Moss on the D'Lite design. So you can rely on what he told you.
