Brown Note foot pedal and relay- what happened to them?

Post by docmh »

I want to install a footswitch on my Brown Note D'lite 22/33 amp.
I bought it from someone who made it out of a kit. Brown Note makes
a footswitch kit with the relay and everything, but I can't get in touch with them by phone or e-mail. Does anyone know if they're still around? There forum dates to years back.
Is there another way to build a relay and get a footswitch for this amp?
There are some layout pics of the amp with relay on an old BN forum thread, I think I read somewhere that a 2 button Marshall footswitch would work, but I have no idea about how to build a relay and power supply needed for it.
Mucho Gracias

You can roll your own from this:

Check this link for some nice boards:

Search the forum for many ways to implement.

Here is a source for the populated relay boards. This is Ampdoc's design, same as the Brownnote.

Mark, if you find the footswitch and relay installation is beyond your skillset, I'm sure there is somebody here that could help you out for a nominal amount.
Just ask and post your location. :D

Thanks everyone. I would have a tech do the work for me. I live in Santa Rosa, CA. and there are lots of techs in the Bay Area. Know anybody particular who could help.
