Another trick I will probably add to the 6V6 amp is a resistor in the PT center tap. 100 to 200 ohms will drop the voltages nicely and add a little sag to the response.
difference between this and adding zener(s)?
PI and bypass cap values(range)?
is there a NFB circuit (range)?
The reason I like the resistor is that it approximates the "feel" of a tube rectifier. It does this by changing the charge time required for the power supply caps (slows it down a touch).

Front end is standard Skyliner stuff as is the PI. No tricks and yes there is NFB on V1 and the power amp.

Nice sounding amp Gary! Thing sounds huge for 25 watts.
