Eyelet Board Templates

Post by dreric »

Hey guys,

I want to make my own eyelet boards for:

Precision Power supply

"124" old style power supply

Bias / rectifier

PS relay

HRM

Using jumpers versus printed circuit etc.

I know I've seen them in amps but I can't seem to find them with the search feature.

Anyone have templates for these these handy?

Thanks in advance

dreric, #124 filter board I made from scratch 3 7/8" x 5 1/2"
The relay boards are a pain. Jason has nice relay boards for a good price.

See, if these will work for ya. Here's HP power supply that uses all radials. I used the HP string layout as a guide for my current MM 100W build. The first two axial caps I laid out by hand. IIRC, I increase this to 105% on my HP printer.

Eric, I used the Visay PR01, PR03 resistors and 7.5mm spaced radial caps. For this layout on both the 3 and 4 node board used a 1/16 eyelet for one leg of the radial cap.

You wouldn't happen to have a photo of the flip side showing how you wired handy. Scaled template?

The larger eyes are 1/8 and the smaller? Where do you source your eyelets?

I'd also like to personally than you for responding to my posts and for your contributions to the page............ you do really nice work.

Eric, sorry I don't. However, its exactly like pictured though. I used 20AWG buss wire in the red locations, except where there are 1/16 eyelets, the capacitor's lead is used.

One caveat, make sure the exposed bottom of the cap housing doesn't touch the bleeder resistor legs. I like using the 2W PR02 as they are just small enough to clear.

Yes, the larger ones are 1/8 x .156 (534-45) and the 1/16 x .156 (#534-25) eyelets are both from Mouser.

YW and thanks, I'm glad I can give a little back to this great forum. There's some realy talented (building, fabrication and woodworking) folks on this forum and maybe day I can hold a candle to some of them.
