Hi all ,
Can be a good choice , build a D-stile amp 50W with "Fender Super 60" PT or "Fender Concert II" PT instead of Bassman PT?

It's good to choose a power transformer that has a bias tap on it.
Makes it easier to implement the bias circuit rather than bleed it off of the B+.
I would try to pick a PT that has at least 200ma if not 300ma current spec on the HT winding.
The PT in my D'lite amplifier (2 x 6L6 + 3 x 12ax7) has a 300ma HT winding.
Also handy to have a 5v winding for power for the relays.
A Bandmaster Reverb PT would work well.

If you have a Concert II PT, that would work great!

Don't let that smoke out!

Re: 50W Fender PT choice
Thanks Tom , I think that a Concert II PT has more mA on HT /B+ winding so as to have more W-RMS than a Bassman trafo , but maybe I'm wrong and the difference is minimal.
