It's not done yet but I wanted to see what it looks like. Not every day you see a Bassman with eleven hat knobs.
It is actually a 4 x 6L6GA Bluesmaster with HRM and buffered loop, controls on the faceplate. Schematic courtesy of Henry, posted here recently. Relays on Brite switch, OD and PAB.
The head and chassis were left over after I did my 50W '70s ODS in a Princeton chassis.

Gut Shot
Boards are almost complete, just have to wire them in. Still have to put in the off-board loop parts around that tube socket and mount the iron.

Re: Bloozman HRM
That's right! PRP, Riken & Takman resistors, and Hammond filament transformers.
Also Apex Jr., teflon wire, octal sockets, PEC pots, PS heat sinks & slide switches. AES, 6PS caps, PS/bias supply board, tip jacks.
Mouser for just about everything else except Ampdoc1's relay boards/5VPS.
Iron is M-C Twin 4 ohm OT, Heyboer choke, Mercury Mag. low voltage '59 Bassman PT 310-0-310 w/5V winding for relay PS.
All the usual suspects!

David, The PKP and Takman resistors has sparked my interest in the 1 watt value.
What is your opinion on the sound of the PKP Takman resistors.
Regards, Steve.

Re: Bloozman HRM
I have been using the PRP, both 1W and 1/2W, for several years now. They are excellent metal films. I have used both the GP (General Purpose) and the PR9372 (audio grade) and in a guitar amp cannot tell the difference. Dead quiet and neutral, no high end zizz that you can get from some mostly older design MFs.
The Takman are new to me, I use only the pink ones which are carbon film, and went to them because they are a lot cheaper than Rikens and still in production too so the range available is wider. Except they don't have a 110K, or rather, Parts Connexion doesn't have them in a 110K. They sound dead quiet, like the Rikens.
I use 1/2W as grid stoppers and in the PI as a plate load. Have not tried them as plate loads other than in the PI because I stocked up on RN65s recently. 1W should be fine as plate loads for less 2nd harmonic but of course no advantage as grid stoppers I think over 1/2W.
