consequently its healthy to remember that RF is human too and can have an off day.
What if he did it deliberately, so that we'd think he was human.

Have a great day!

Cheers,
Paul.
Excuse me sir, are you suggesting that Mr. Robben Ford might be of extraterrestrial provenance? 8)

It would certainly explain a lot of things! Perfect tone, flawless technique, great imagination, etc etc etc.

Joking aside, whenever I have spoken to him, he seems to be a very modest and humble man. Very human!

Cheers,

Paul.

What is funny is the look Robben gives to the sound man after he didn't raise volume on something during the first song of this show LOL!!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=61jK5BjYBz4

at :34 you can see him giving the thumbs up on the volume.

at :44 you see the stare then the head shake LOL!!!!!!

Also when I saw him last year August in Pa. the sound man would turn off his vocal mic when he had an extended solo. Only problem is he never would turn it back on when Robben started singing and you can tell he was getting pissed. After the FOURTH time he starting singing "You're Fired" when it came back om LOL!!!!!!

If a player doesn't make a clam is he/she really trying to stretch out?
come on....
I have a live recording from around 1997 or so lots of them in there, but a fantastic gig. It was what impressed me about his playing, on record it's just too bland for me, live with a couple of clams...well there is some soul in it.
You guys don't play live much if you think it doesn't happens allot.....

I never said that I don't appreciate RF's small clamps, on the contrary my point is exactly that his clamps is making him human, and proves that he gives it all. So I guess we are not in dissagrement

I think a clam and a clamp are a similar thing. One when you hand goes to the wrong place and the other when It stays where it is..................
