Mid boost

Post by CHIP »

I recently installed a mid boost in my D'lite. I found that I like my amp much better with the switch in the .002 mf postion and not when both caps ( .002mf and 300pf) are in series.
I was wondering how often others play their amps with the boost engaged?

I use it quite a bit on my SOD II's and OVerdrive Deluxe amps (it is on the footswitch). Love a Tele with the mid boost enabled.

I like my mid boost on when below half volume.
Really fills it out.
When you get louder it doesn't seem to need it as the mids and lows do fine on their own.

For me depends on the amp/guitar/ mood/ song
I put them in pretty much all my personal builds

In general here's what Ive found..

Skyline ...use it about 50/50
Classic Stack...Hardly ever
70's #13....Love this amp w/mid boost in OD..
Bluesmaster.. Hardly ever

What values are you all using.
Will include it on my D'Lite in a couple of weeks.
