Hi , I finish my D-lator and this are my voltages:
Drive side: 258V / 29V
Recovery side: 228V / 1,8V
I seem this voltage ok
comment are appreciated
Thanks

Re: D-lator in amp chassis finish
They look very good.
It is good to have the headroom on the cathode follower. That is nasty a$$ sounding clipping that can occur at that stage.
I keep thinking I am going to tweak that circuit for a 12AT7 for a future amp. The 12AX7 really limits the BW. With an AT7 you can take the response from DC to Daylight.

What values would you modify?glasman wrote:They look very good.

Re: D-lator in amp chassis finish
On the CF if would the cathode and bootstrap to rebias the tubes. On the recovery side I would dump the FB, drop the input resistor value a bit and change the cathode resistor to get the proper bias level.
For the actual values I would have to sit down with the tube data and work out the required "R" changes.

Gary, since there seems to be sufficient gain do you see any advantage going to a 12AU7 as well? Am thinking in terms of less gain vs. more bandwidth but don't have the data sheets at hand (until I get home).
