Is mounting the caps insider the chassis not an option? You look to have lots of room in there.
Those long B+ and ground runs are really not good practice, especially with an amp like an ODS.

I don't know how long that chassis is but HAD ran the B+ for V1 from the PT clear down to the other end of the chassis side wall.

Re: Bassman Ten ODS layout
Long well filtered B+ runs aren't so much of an issues as are the long ground runs.

Re: Bassman Ten ODS layout
I'm using what parts I have to get the 150uf filtering, which is 6x 100uf ran in series parallel. Even with this large amount of caps I think have plenty of room inside the chassis to mount the capacitors, I just don't have the boards and I figure if I could utilize the current layout then why not?
I never thought of the B+ or ground wire length, but this seems to be the larger concern over the preamp tube and capacitor orientation. B+ lines wouldn't be too long in the current layout, but the ground wire from the mains caps would have to run halfway across the chassis.
I want to experiment with some circuit additions so the extra space would be nice to have.
Thanks for the time.
