Baritone guitar on Dumble amps

Post by mr_chrish »

How would a baritone guitar sound on a dumble amp? Have anyone tried that?

Thanks,
Christian

I play baritone guitar with my country rock band on 3 songs (especially the intro in "Killin' Time" cries out for a baritone guitar). Works excellent, although I use it on the clean channel only which has the standard Fender tone stack. But it should work also well in an amp with a D-style tone stack. Maybe you need to set the mid control low but to me there is no reason it shouldn't work.
