YouTube of full rig in action. Skyline non HRM + G1265

Here is the Glaswerks Deluxe OD in low volume kitchen action. All mixed on my laptop at the kitchen table. The amp was tubed with Tung Sol 6L6GC STR tubes at 35ma. Preamps were JJ ECC83S. 105-110 on the gain. So, not the high gainers but right below it. Amp has big bright cap on master but as you can see, it is totally smooth at lower levels, as long as the master is up a ways. Amp in half power mode since I used a 1X12 G1265. The cab is on the dark side btw.

The rest is as written on YouTube.

I used the Carruthers Spruce CSA for this. Filmed with a Canon HV20 and Sony external mic about four feet from amp. I had phones on and synced the video and solo to the backing in Sony Vegas software. I think I got it close. Rig is my Glaswerks Deluxe OD with RF tweaks, Glaswerks Matchbox tube loop, TC G-Major 2, Suhr MiniMix to run TC delay and reverb in parallel, 1X12 Glaswerks G1265 cab. Amp in 50W mode and volume is low. I used the loop to control the volume. My kids were all playing in the adjoining open area while I recorded. Notice my daughter ride her scooter by at 3:32! This is more a test of the camera and external mic and not so much to showcase the playing......

Excellent!
Relatively dry sound, nice focused.

I have two racks! The big 6 spacer with the Switchblade. And the baby three spacer with Suhr Minimix. Much easier on the back!!!

Thanks!

Hi Scott, Nice playing. I like your high volume/ royer/sm57 clips better. More sing, although this is very nice too. Nice scooter! :D

Great tone and playing Scott - at least the scooter was relatively noise free.

Nice!

The Canon HV20 camera looks to be a good camera.

High definition!

Thanks guys!! The Canon has an audio VU meter as well as a mic pad! And an external input. So, I recorded this with a $100 external Sony mic. Powered with a single AA battery. bettwer than the camera mic I guess, but no Royer... LOL
