Dumbleator, transformer inside the rack?

Post by Bob-I »

Is there any reason why the xformer has to hang out the back of the rack? There's very little heat and the rack I just bought has a lip that prevent me from hanging it outside.

I was thinking of just mounting it inside on brackets. What'cha think?

I don't know with the xformers brandon uses; my dumblelators(build 4 units) all have the xformer inside. They were all torrodial and no issues with them.

Thx Erwin.

As it turns out this rack case is too deep for what I want. I'll be looking for an alternative.

I think the main (if not only) reason for them being out back was because they wouldn't fit inside.
