Cool ... sounds good ... I'd be tempted to try it live. If you do, let us know ... I'd really like to hear about that ...

Scott, The tone and your playing is absolutely stunning. The only thing I notice that sounds a bit odd to me is the way double stops are processed. Its not unpleasant, just not what I expected. Even so, I would never guess it wasn't a real or cloned Dumble.dogears wrote:Sorry about that.....
I have not tried it live yet. I'd like to try it with the Atomic monitors. Not tried the Eleven yet.
I just recorded this today. I have made great progress I think! Sounds like an amp now. And I was getting good feedback, even just using my ADAM monitors while recording.

Great playing by the way.

First thing nice playing as always..
Things I like
Midrange voicing pretty much there..coming at you with some thick lower mids as the real deal.. so +1 for the eq...Very cool..
It's nice and smooth on the top..
I like the new clips better..the sustain it has is very cool and it sounds
Nice and quiet..
Things I don't like..
The top seemed to be a bit too compressed..also missing that hairy snarl we all love...But what it is it's not bad really..
On some places it got a bit buzzy on the top end.. Still once again not bad for what it is..
I don't know if it was the file conversion but it kind of lacked some of the throaty lowend I am use to these amps especially the 100w clips you used to do... Still not bad...
Breakup quality is not the same to me.. This is where it loses me..
All in all I thought it's worthy calling it a Dumble patch (With you playing it)
The EQ is definitively close enough and better than most of the simulators I have heard...
Although I can still hear the artifacts associated with the signal processing... Getting closer bro but still not yet perfected.. Once again great playing..I'll bet my opinion would change if I actually played it...
Not bashing just opinionated...

Thanks Tony! I went back and listened and agree. I added some panned IR verb in the mix and it mucked with the highs. I redid the mix with less IR verb as well as a different type of verb. It is a bit smoother on the top. Still needs a little work but better. No?

Yeah I like that better..It's got more of that initial percussive attack on the top..You can really here it when your pick and fingers hit the strings at different times when you dig in... those pinch harmonics kind of float off the top.. Very cool..Are you going to do some through a speaker?.. I would like to hear it.. Good luck with it and once again nice playing

Re: Off topic a little -more exploits of the Axe Fx Dumble Patch
I'd been resisting this thread because I don't like pedals, or emulators, simulators etc. But man I missed out on some good playing - fantastic demo Scott. You could make a transistor radio sound good with those chops. Really made my day - thanks
