3D 1x12" Cabinet

Hi,
Here is my 3D -Forte style cabinet for guitar i have build for a friend who plays blues with Fuchs OD30 head.Label on the front GSB (garage speaker butique) -all my stuff ist handmade in garage only with handtolls.Speaker at now is Celestion gold Alnico 8 ohm. Cab is oiled inside .Tolex -original Fender ,Logos are reverse laser graved.Dimensions from cab are : 50cm W ,50cm H ,33 cmW.Cab is made from 19mm plywood -routed inside to 12mm .Vents on the side realy improve the sound ,and player also like beamblocker on the front -can be removed with 2 imbus screws .Cab weight is under 20 kg with speaker inside.Sound is very natural no ice picking ..

Not familiar with 3-d cabs.(I'm old) But, I think it looks nice and well executed.

Hi,
Thanks ,i.m also old -born 66 8) , side vents improved dispersion from sound-it is mix from open/closed back cabinet .If you play in club an stay beside from cab ,you can hear it also well-front bafle is also angled. :D :D

very very nice. Is all that routed by hand? looks like CNC it's so neat.


I like the idea of these cabs.

Hi,
Sorry for late response,Yes all that is routed by the hand. My real job is medicine... so with wood and router in my garage i can realy hang off .... no people, no ringing machines, only cold bear and dog - Chihuahua on carpet. I'm impressed also about how cabinet sounded . :D
