Some lettering for an amp I'm working on.

Font is from 'Houses Of The Holy'

This is with my Weller pencil iron. I think I need to round the tip some, I'm getting a lot of dig in.

Done!

The volume pot pulls out to lift the ground from the tone stack, and there is a 'thin/fat' switch as well.

the 'Watts' selector selects different B+ windings.

Love it. Great job! Did you print on paper and trace on wood etc or is it simply freehanding? Either way great achievement.

That is really some excellent work. I use a woodburner but I haven't done a faceplate. However, I recommend getting one, they're cheap and far easier to use IME than an iron.

Super job. Love that font.

So, it needs some knobs.

This is my first attempt at inlay.

I had some scraps of camphor burl from another project that I used here.

I ground the drill bit to make a hole with a flatter bottom. Notice the shine on the cutting edge? I've ground that back to a less acute angle. This prevents the drill from grabbing.

The dots are glued in with carpenters glue then sanded flush.

That's the cherry I'm going to use for the cab
