Hey guys I've built this 5W SE Liverpool clone which has 6PS Orange Drops, Carbon Comp, Carbon Film resistors.
Just ordered some Heyboer Iron to replace the generic OT that I used which really sucks btw.
Now obviously im missing a Phase Inverter so any suggestions where to get this gain back in the pre-amp design? shall I add another stage to mimick the gain of the PI? or shall I simply reduce the 10k cathode resistor on v2a to add more gain and bring it into the big wrecks gain terratory?
Anyone know how to do the math to figure out exactly what cathode resistor i'd require to get the right ammount of gain?
The voltages the pre-amp is running on are exactly the same as a real liverpool.
Suggestions for a gain increase in my 5W SE Liverpool..

You have built a totally different amp. Is not a "how to make it sound that way" problem, because it is not possible to.
Basically you have to set the amp so that the power amp goes into saturation just before the cold stage.
The other way is to use something like a 100k 2k2 or a 47k 2k2 instead of the cold stage, and to set the output voltage divider so to agree to the previous point (what goes into saturation and when).
But again, is totally another amp, you can't think about it to obtain a liverpool.
