Clarostat Potentiometers?

Post by JamesHealey »

Where on earth can you find Audio Taper Clarostat 1M and 250K and a Linear 25k with the right length shafts?

Im so confused I can't find them and their website is horrendously hard to find anything on, and none of the pictures actually represent the product.

I've bought them from here:

www.westlabs.com

go to Parts, then Potentiometers

I always get mine from Dave at West Labs too.

He also does the PRP GP1 resistors which I like a lot for a metal film that doesn't sound like a metal film in amps, i.e. it's very low inductance.

A lot of people are using a 'flying' ground buss, using buss wire or romex. You ground it to the chassis at one end and run short leads from the pots.
