I was wonder why he didn't sell that amp too. This version has HT select to go between 260v or 290v on the rectifier tube.

Mark,

I saw that too and there is a half power switch also. I didn't see a schematic for it though.

In the 60's people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird , and they take Prozac to make it normal.

So please help me understand. How is this new kit different compared to their other 3 TW clones? Thanks

MCK go to the trainwreck file section and view each layout and schematics and you will see the differences in the amps. 8)

I really like my Rocket better than my two other TWs but each has its own flavor so a three amp setup maybe what some of us need. :)

I just had to have all three amps and glad I do. There is a piece of history to me in each TW amp and I plan to have good head cabs built to replace the ones I made. They are not real Ken Fischer amps but I still enjoy his designs and nothing like building your amp, right guys.

Got it. The Ceriatone web layout confused me that's all. Thanks for your input and yes, nothing like getting your soldering iron hot!

MCK

I joined your Forum and first had to figure out what MCK was and Dark Fire. I now know. I am a Roland GR33 user so maybe I can get some info about the other Roland stuff there. I started in the DIY section and worked my way around.

Thanks.

Super! Will be great to hear from you and your VG33 experience. We are trying to diversify the forum beyond the Gibson Dark Fire so sharing from you will be of great interest. Thanks
