I think some of the regulars are getting a little irritated by posters coming in and asking for a layout or schematic without so much as a howdy do. Especially someone like this poster who has been lurking for over a year without making a single post until now. This is a forum, not a download ftp site.

By the way, I don't give the asteroid layout to brand new posters like this anyway. A little track record is necessary first.

I must agree, I didn't do all the documentation work for every free loader on the inter-web to download and abuse commercially.

When I came to the Amp Garage, I decided that it was the least I could do by trying to organize and standardize the information used by our forum mates. This bloke should perhaps do the same and contribute whilst taking...

I smell opportunity here - "The Steroid Amp" - I envision some over-clocked muscle bound behemoth with four KT-88's and a five tube preamp - but then again, we wouldn't be talking about a Trainwreck amp on the Trainwreck forum.... more like "Freight-Train Frenzy!

But if you want one of these, let me know I'll put a kit together for you and it will include the schematic!

When you search, read the guidelines for searching to focus your search. That will get you where you are going faster. Join in a few discussions and find the folks that can help you, there are some very informed folks on the topic you've raised.

Now I have to find all the materials which is not easy in Italy.

All is cool. As I said these are good guys and getting to know them will ultimately be a great advantage in amp building.

I'm getting ready to send some perf board over there to Italy right now. Occasionally somebody contacts me from your side of the world, looking for parts. We definitely have it good over here in parts availability.

Keep pluggin' away at it and figure out that search engine and you'll score some good stuff, but I will say that establishing some solid relationships with the guys will help you find the fast track... then of course if you've got something interesting or useful you can post that is always a positive for us all.

Don't worry about the stir, some will bark at the wind or howl at the moon, but when you get to know them, mostly they want to talk about amps.

Speaking only for myself - I do not have an "axe to grind" with anyone. powerwin, I will say that a little more self-introduction (and more explanation of your efforts to find the schematic to that point) in your *very first post on this site* would have helped your cause a lot. Such a terse first post did not come across as if you had put forth any individual effort, only that you were looking for the kind folks in this forum to hand you something - all take, no give, if you know what I mean. (I'm hoping this is clear for someone that does not have English as a first language.)

Regardless, welcome. I wish you success with your amp building. We are here to help.
