Hello,
I'm thinking of using the Toneslut PT (on a 2 6V6, 2 or 3 12ax7 project) and was wondering... With their PT, what voltages are you guys getting on the heaters? What Tube combo are you using? It's rated 6.3V at 7.5A. I won't be drawing that kind of current. I'm concerned the voltage might end up being too high for what I wanna use it for.
Thanks,

Re: Toneslut PT Question
Gary,
I actually have seen that spec and per the spec it says 6.3 @ 7.5A on the heaters. So if I understand the spec correctly, if I draw 7.5A, I'm guaranteed a heater voltage of 6.3. That is what I'm concerned about. I'm not going to be drawing 7.5A on the heaters, probably about 2A (2 6V6s and 3 12AX7s) only. So I'm concerned that the heater will be significantly higher than 6.3.
Thanks,

Re: Toneslut PT Question
All 5 of my amps have about 6.8volts (not 6.3) on the heaters. One of them is a 2x6v6 + 3x12ax7 with toneslut Power tranny.
If it says "Vintage" on it, -it isn't.
