Has anybody here put such a thing on their amp so thay can have bedroom levels at home yet in a band situation go back to the original Volume knob controlling things. I got rid of my bright switch and figured could use the toggle space for something useful for me at least.
Thanks,

With most MV designs that I have seen, when they are dimed, the amp is essentially back to stock.
Re: Switchable Master Vol.
On certain amps I build (NOT TW style amps) I use a PPI MV, and put a toggle switch on it, or use 1 M pot with the old style click on switch. Some players like it, some don't.

With the PPI master across the plates of the PI that you are talking about, you can take the pot apart and cut the trace, like one of Ken's tips for the tone control on your guitar.
