TW Rocket TAG/AM head found...what's it worth?

Ok, I admit I'm a hoarder. I just found a TW Rocket head (AM build) with a Tiger Rosewood head cab in my pile of amps.

Amperex Bugle Boys, quad EL84's, Dynacor trannies. Volume, Bass, Treble, Cut controls.





How much are these selling for these days? I can't even find a receipt for it...so disgusted...I don't remember everything I have.

This thing sounds like an 18w Marshall on steroids.

Any help with an approximate value or selling price would be appreciated.

It should come with a club to hit me over the head with! I also found one of my original Plexi Crunch 50w heads in a custom compact head cab.

And there's a cardboard box on the floor, with two amp heads on to of it...so I know it's got something in it since the two amp heads didn't squash it.

So, anyone have a guess as to what this would be worth in the market? I can't find any on eBay, nothing on Reverb, either.

I guess there are Ceriatone versions, but haven't really seen anything else listed.

In a decent market, it should be worth about $2K.

With these things it usually depends on who built the amp. What transformers are in the amp?
Components used in the amp.

Have you played through the amp and what speakers are you using with the amp?

"AM build", what does that mean? Sorry if this seems dense.

I have built this circuit a bunch... I get $1600 and up. With the headshell you have, I'd have to agree with Xtian - $2k.

However, it does not look like an Allyn build to me, tube shields are a give away. Post a gut shot Jim. That will help a ton.

The PT looks like a Heyboer. Can't see the OT, so hard to say if it has a Dynaco style OT (A470).

Right now all of my gear is in boxes, anvil cases or covered. The movers really did a number on mixing up the house stuff with the business stuff, and the house stuff has to be accessible first, or there will be "war in camp" with my wife. Can't say as I blame her.

There's some upgrades going on with the kitchen and closet organizers which will be done in a couple more weeks (thanks lumber suppliers who can't get us our Baltic Birch closet organizers for another 10-12 days). I have my Ovation acoustic out only, and I've been so busy, I haven't pulled that out of the case.

But once I get clear of all that stuff, gut shot pics, etc should be no problem. I'm sure I put the tube retainers on since I have cats that like to swat things, and I didn't want my expensive NOS tubes becoming shards of glass, you know? LOL
