A Different Cab and Hello

Post by 908ssp »

Hi I am a new member I don't build amps so I won't be any help there. I have some experience in other things that might be of help. I bought a Trainwreck Clone and built my own cab I thought you might like to see it. I call it my CageWreck. When I got it without a cab I played it and decided it was such an animal it needed a cage. I am really happy with it.

Thats on heck of a cab!! Looks like it could take a lickin and keep on tickin. Did you have access to a CNC machine? Give us some details on how you made the CageWreck.

No CNC (computer control) I do have my own machine shop so all the parts were made by hand so to speak. I got a little carried away with the screws there are nearly as many screws on the back as on the front. I'll have to get some more pictures uploaded of the back and top. This is the only other picture I have of it. Thanks for the welcome.

Love it! :) I think I saw some of your bike parts once?

Inspiring stuff. Makes me wonder about trying a chassis as a single milled piece of aluminium. :D
