What pot do you use for the bias adjustment?
The Komet use a 10 turn pot with a fancy knob, something totaling around $80. I think this is too much.
Is it worth it to have the pot externally accessible? I was thinking to use a small trim pot mounted on the board.

Re: Which bias pot
I like having it externally accessable, along with bias test points... means I dont have to open the case up to swap in differnet tubes and rebias.
I just use a regular pot (25k).

Re: Which bias pot
I think those are called "heli-pots" and if you look far and wide, you might find them for maybe 20 bucks? You don't need the high wattage for a bias pot usually, but I guess that's what Komet/KF wanted, and the ability to lock the setting too I guess.
