New England Amp and Guitar Fest!

Hi everyone!

I am in the process of organizing the New England Amp and Guitarfest. I would like some feedback about timing. I thing late summer or early fall would be the best time. I am trying to avoid the peak of vacation time because many members here have families and vacation in the mid-summer. Any ideas? These are some of the ideas that I think will make a sucessful event.

1. Have the event in a hall in an area easily accessible to all of New England. Where loud noise would not be noticed '73 SL moment!

2. Invite Manufacturers to have small booths.
3. Invite members from both amp and guitar forums.
4. Food
5. Amp builders breakout session
6. Video and pics!

What does everyone think?

I'll be there with my JTM45 and hopefully my T'wreck clone will be finished by then. I thought I would have it finished by now but it's been hard to find the time.

Sounds great! I actually live in Ipswich, MA. I'd be very interested in attending, but don't make it too late, I gotta head out to college in Sept.
Still putting my first build together; its an 18 watt JA tmb.
Bit of a tangent, sorry bout that... I get so excited.

Hi Everyone, Is there anyone who will be attending NE Guitar and Ampfest going to bring their 'wreck? I'll have mine done by then. I will also have my 18 Watt TMB Head as well as my 18watt Trem. I am working on a new amp with the 'wreck preamp/18watt power with a design by S2 at S2 amplification. We have quite a few vendors getting booths as well as a few sponsors. It should be a great time. The event is planned for late August/Early September. I think it will be Early September to allow most vendors and amp builders to get their summer vacations done with. The following Forums are to be represented by members already:

Would love to come, but with baby #2 on the way at the end of this month, I don't think my wife will let me go. I'll be too busy dealing with dirty diapers.
