Hi
I'm about to start the build of my Rocket and I'm ordering some face plates for it. I've made room for a HT fuse in addition to the mains fuse. I live in Norway and the outlets reads between 230 - 240 VAC.
In theory I should use a 1A mains fuse, since the 120VAC amp is specified to use a 2A, but I found some old threads where 1.6A was suggested to prevent the fuse blowing at the initial surge from the filter caps. Is that what you Euro guys are using?
On to the HT, which is an extra insurance just in case. Would a 0.5A fast blow do the work or should I go lower?
Thanks
Joakim

Re: Rocket & fuses
1A slow blow on 230V has been no trouble.
The HT fusing is inside the box on mine: one 500mA on each HT leg, because I saw Vox did that on one of their later AC30 circuits. Also no issues so far.
Would be interested to hear of anyone leses experiences too.
Best, tony
