I know that this has probably been discussed and I have searched but how important is is the capacitor value in the power filtering stage?
I have the values in red but can get the correct uF but at 450v instead of 500.
Any help appreciated.

Re: Power caps Rocket 1st Time builder
Depends... What power transformer are you using?

I use anything from 40-47uf/450 to 600v but 450v-500v is sufficient.
Same for the other caps 20uf-22uf/450 to 500v.

Re: Power caps Rocket 1st Time builder
I have used 22's and 47's with wonderful results. I never used a 30 in the middle there, but it shouldn't really make that big of a difference.

Thanks for the advice.
The Power Transformer is the Magnetic Components Classic Tone 40-18065 from Triode as it is supposed to be for 240v 50/60Hz. I hope! Output is the dynaco A470 reproduction.

I'm planning on build similar to pablogt
https://tubeamparchive.com/viewtopic.php?t=16041
with Power Scaling (SB-84), PPIMV and mid boost mod.
I've nearly got all the goodies including a vintage 30 speaker and Telecaster! I'm so glad I stumbled upon this great forum and thanks once again for all the advice.
