I might be wrong but it looks as though the cut cap is wired across the bias resistors.

Recoup

Hope for your speedy recovery. This is a good tonic. Its a small matter but be sure and blow out that metal shaving, otherwise coming along nicely.

R18? Check that.

Mikey,

It's great to have you among us and on the mend, sounds like you went through a lot. Amp therapy is very effective in helping a man heal, something most doctors are not aware of.

I think Fishy is right about the resistor going to the cut control, you need to move the bottom leg of the resistor over to the next turret.

Lookin forward to your report as you bring this from a box of parts into reality.

I don't like preattaching wires to a board before installing it (minus requisite underboard b+ runs obviously) as it is harder to strip the wires cleanly when installed.

Flux remover,a toothbrush and then blow it out.
Crystal latice or vacuum, that is the question.

Hey Guys,Im back in action to finish the rocket this week. One thing,The filter caps neg side go to ground. On the rocket build layout they keep them separate on ground tabs on the rectifier socket. Is this neccesary for any reason?I just put mine together and grounded to the chassis. Thanks Mikey

Not an expert Mikey but the schematic shows those caps grounded. I am thinking you are OK. Maybe someone else will pipe in.

You are fine using only one grounding instead of 2. The layout has 2 in case that you use the NOS cinch socket that has 4 soldering tabs, so you can use 2 but if you use a new style socket u can either put 2 grounding lugs or just one, no big deal.
