I've been reading up on these switching techniques as best I can, and I can't find any information on the SSR control circuitry.

Why did you use an inverter instead of the transistor method Mark Huss was using, and where can I read about these circuits. I've looked around and can't find any information on controlling these chips.

I'm trying to devise some multiple switching options for some mods to a couple of my amps.

By the way, the inverter is oriented opposite of the silkscreen?

I just happen to have about 500 inverters laying around not being used and I created the design with the thought that I could put these to good use.

To control the chip you only need to turn on the led inside the chip just like any other LED circuit.

Dana have you seen the new line of SSR's from Panasonic? I believe their called PhotoMOS series. Some of them have ON resistances of 1ohm. Yes, 1 ohm.

Bet those would do the job well!

I don't have any in stock but I can order a tranny for 240v operation. Do you not have a 5v tap?

You'll need the tranny then. I'll see if I can find a suitable tranny that will fit on the board and get back to you.

Do you have any more of the SS Switch kits available? Cost?

Application is to switch in a cathode bypass cap (Boost) on the 2nd stage of a KT66 based Rocket.
