Thanks Ryan
really appreciate you posting this layout
The dwell works fine...just the right amount of control
I did try a 12at7 and I like it...
this circuit seems to be a little more 3d sounding with just a touch of reverb
might try some old tubes this weekend...running Russian 84's and Chinese ax7's and they are sounding really good..maybe another plus of this circuit
I'm running reverb all the time also.

Really dig the Black Crows vibe towards the end of your clip 8)
What's your recording setup?

Mark, you are too kind - seriously, but I like that ! :D I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that the positive vibe you send out here really pumps me up. When are we gonna hear clips of some of your amazing creations ?

Darin - I recorded the clip with a Shure Beta57 into my Zoom MRS8 ( http://www.zoom.co.jp/english/products/mrs8/ ) The guitar was my Dano DC59 reissue. On the end part that you liked I think my Hotplate was turned down a couple of clicks, which colors the sound a bit, but that's not always bad. I have Sovtek 84s in mine too, the rest are JJs :Ecc83S in V1 and PI, AT7 in reverb driver, long plate Ecc803S in the CF spot and JJ5AR4 also. The Sovteks were from a NIB quad I have had on the shelf for a few years, there was an oscillation in my power section that turned out to be a bad power tube, so now I'm left with a single - maybe I'll make a mini HRM with it. I recently scored a lot of tubes from Craig's list - a bunch of vintage 5751s, 12AX7s, etc. That I have been meaning to try in this build, but it sounds good to me as is so I just haven't taken the time to do that.

Ahh, thanks, I saw the first link was broken and didn't realize it had been updated. Thanks, I found it!

I've spent a very little time with this build
one thing that is bothering me is the treble and bass pot seem to work backwards...that is moving clockwise seems to cut treb and bass?
is it me? or do I have it wired backwards somehow?
also Mid pot doesn't seem to do much at all?
any suggestions are appreciated

Thanks

Well after spending some time searching the forum
I found a schem from a KT66 Rocket Reverb from rawnster herehttps://tubeamparchive.com/download/file.php?id=13334
and rewired the pots and its working fine now
a little hum from the reverb but I'm gonna try a different pan and see..
still tweakin to learn and learnin to tweak

Glad you got it working properly now. Which layout or schematic did you use to wire the pots the first time that were backwards?
