add shipping on to that from Bud to Me then Me to You.

it's not a chassis for the budget minded. they are however as close to the original as you can get. without spending years searching. believe me i know i've spent 4. and only found 1

Aw Rats... I can't do them for that price either.

Let me know if there is any incentive to go back to the original quote, the double welded corners don't add any value for me.

thanks,

So ... what is the price each? Am I missing something? I would need shipping to 80501 (CO). thx.

$50 each plus shipping to your door.

I tried this already with Hammond and the quote was over $70 each for heavier aluminum so I'm not surprized the price went up.

Really poor chassis for $50 I think.

i agree the chassis it's self is shit but I'm not after it for it's robust and hardy design. i want it for it's true to the original character and the way it behaves sonically with less material is a plus. I'm not interested in just having an amp that is like a wreck. I'm going the extra steps to make an amp that is the same as a wreck. as stated many times everything matters in a wreck and the chassis is no exception.

i'm confused how $11 makes or breaks a deal this awesome?

with shipping i'd guess it'll bring the total to $65.

it's ok if you aren't interested

worst case I'll talk them into making me a couple one off's.

I was excited and thought I would share.
at least we know it is possible.

I don't really have a need for the hammonds, just thought at the first price I would stock up on a few in case someone wanted an amp built with that chassis. Unfortunatly for me, having $108 (4) worth of thin chassis setting on a shelf for who knows how long wouldn't be too bad. But when you get into the $200 plus range for four of them it just isn't something I want to put that much money into, but that is just me. I would much rather have a chassis from Allyn or Cieratone that is pretty much the same price as the last hammonds you were quoted, is already drilled and much more sturdy for builds that I do for other people. If people want to pick one up to build a Wreck to the exact specs then by all means this is probably a one in who knows when great deal. I am just not one of those people. I do appreciate you going to the lengths you have went to to get them built and offer them to our fellow forumites who might want the original stuff.
