Buschman,

If you can manage it, you should scrounge up parts and build the Rocket as well. It really is different from the other two. But in very good way.

If you have both yet don't want to tear down the Liverpool, then sacrifice the Express!

Check out the traffic on the KT66 and the 66 Rockster.

Yeah, absolutely. The Rocket circuit eats pedals all day long. I hit mine with a TIM and a Small Fry for overdrive stuff, DL4 for delay stuff, Supa-Trem for vibe, and an old Ross chorus set on a fast modulation for a leslie effect. They all sound very cool through the Rocket build.

If you want a kick ass amp just use the Express it doesn't get more gainy and girth than the express even on 2 not 2 o'clock but at 2 o'clock hold on the Express really rips thru a 4x12. Turn up the presence and the breakup kicks. I changed my caps from .047 and .1 mfd to .033 and the 250pf disk cap to 330pf on the tone stack for more bass.

I play the rocket for blues, country and clean tones. Actually I haven't gigged with any of my trainwrecks but should, I would have less to carry in and out each time.

Can't seem to put my Stangray away. Sorry boys.
