OK so....

...bias resistors/caps do not need to be moved & wires shortened?

grid & screen resistors need to be stood up...

NFB wire (negative feedback?) needs to be routed as per Ginger*

I don't use the PPIMV, it's left at 11, but it should come out completely?

As the latest pic shows the 1/2 power is already gone...

* The only images I have of Ginger are pretty grainy and it's tough for my untrained eye to ID the NFB wire & it's routing. You wouldn't happen to know the location of a suitable image and be able to ID the wire in question by its color & placement, would you?

BTW... thanks very much for your time & input.

Here's a pic of a Ceriatone kit that I assembled for a client. It is as close to Ginger as I could make it without subbing tons of parts. The blue and the black wires are the grid leads with the yellow wire off to the right running over the ground point is the NFB lead. I ran it over farther to the right than Ginger as this works better for me in Nik's layout.

Going back to your layout, it looks like you have the NFB lead and grid leads bundled together. This can be an issue. I would clip the zip tie and try and separate those leads. You can see that in most Wreck gut shots. Your cathode setup should be fine.

Thanks, that's perfect. I really appreciate the help. ...and just to be exact, the master volume should be:
A) removed
B) leads disconnected
C) left in but adjusted to max at all times....

Is there any advantage to using the one per tube-pair cathode bias resistor set-up I have vs. the standard Ceriatone scheme? I was told it gives more accurate bias voltage....

A

but make sure that you make all necessary changes to put it back to a standard Liverpool.
