Hook it up to computer control mode. Run the headphone Jack out to a scope and headphone amp so you can see and hear the noise test. The amplitrex allows you to save data and compare it among tubes so it can group the bests of a large batch. You can also make your own test based on the circuit you are running the tubes in. To make it really easy you can hookup a brother label machine and print stickers of the test results.

The reamp is great because it allows you to have a performance that is exactly the same each time. You never get tired or have to try to do two things at once you are just free to fiddle and listen to the amp.
