I say its worth $100 because everyone knows that the TW tone is all in the logo

Alright, all jokes aside, no sticker is worth $100

Like it or not, that is eBay policy. Their site, their right.
Yep, so why don't they do it to all of the douchebags selling knock-off Fender crap?
selloutrr wrote:It's a good thing for the most part. It keeps some honesty and trust to eBay. It's based so much on trust that it's comforting to see that the site is monitored and policed as much as it is. It's in the rules it's not like they make it up as they go along.
It has nothing at all to do with honesty, trust or Ebay monitoring anything. It has everything to do with the fact that if you contact them and tell them to remove something because it impinges your copyright (whether it does or not), their lawyers have advised them to comply. End of story...and complete bullshit! There are plenty of people selling knock-off shit on Ebay for millions of different products but because some asshole says the TW stuff is bad and calls them every time something goes up, they fucking jump. They don't monitor a thing. Like I said, total bullshit...

I agree totally Andy.

I can buy Marshall script logo's and parts.

Fender logo's and parts.

VOX logo's and parts.

No consistency at all.

Oh did you know its OK to clone a Marshall and Fender but not a Trainwreck or Dumble :!:

Well guys, think about this...Marshall and Fender and not owned by the people that made it happen. They mass produce and get huge profits for the amps that are bad copies of the amps that made them legendary with pcb's and cheapie components. They know that they don't offer a product like they used to. If somebody wants to make a Fender super tweed like in the 50's they don't care. They are happy making profits with hotrod deluxes and blues jr's.
On the other side HAD and Ken refused to sell their designs to make a profitable product and decided to make their products a one by one proudly made great amp. Of course they will be upset about clonning, they chose to be unique and not get big $$$

Fender logo's and parts.
Fender has stopped selling amp logos years ago and discourages the sale of major parts outside their service network.

However, you may still get replacement logos and decals from an Authorized Fender Service Center if you can fully document your request.

Since Fender, Marshall, Ampeg and others at one time issued their own badged items, the ones that show up on eBay MAY be legit. (Although Fender does shut down attempts to sell peghead decals, since there are very specifc rules for their use). Trainwreck and Dumble are a different story because no logo usage was ever authorized.

What are we butt hurt about again??? The cost?, the post? Or the removal or the post? ?
Obviously it's a sellers market when it comes to trainwreck parts. When was the last time we saw a logo for open sale?

People are starting to realise the tw cult following tw things are popping up. I found a guy on cl selling a stancor because it was used in tw builds he ever used a quote from the forum to describe it.

It's not new news eBay pulls tw fakes clones and imposters. We know it, deal with it.

It would be funny to place bets on how long things stay up before they get pulled.
Is there anyway to tell who bitches and gets them pulled? Cause if we bet a butthurt person could pull the add for personal gain.

"How does the dead horse tw voicing thread relate to tw logos?"

The logo is the final key to voicing the amp so that it will be indistinguishable from an original--both visually and monetarily.

I wonder what a real logo would be worth if someone ever did part out a TrainWreck amp? Actually, I don't care for Logo's. I pulled the original logo's from my fender amps and sold them for rediculous prices on E-bay. I'll suffer if I ever do sell them, but I don't plan on that. :)

True logo cost

take original tw amp

minus

cost of tw amp that was not finished
or voiced by kf

=

cost of actual logo
