So, which wood sounds best for a head cab
I've been doing a ton of reading and it sounds like Ken is so into nuances that certain wood head cabs sound best with his amps.
So what's the verdict ... maple, rosewood, ect?

If you like Heavy Metal choose "Pau Ferro" , it would be a very "heavy" head amp !

Well, my super strat has a walnut body and a maple neck ... I might need to tone it down with rosewood.

Cherry has to be cheaper than rosewood ... and equally as pretty

Damn!!! I just realised I tweaked the hell out of my amp but never had it in the cabinet.
Once I finish my nice Pine cab I will have to modify the circuit to suit the Pine cab.
No wonder my amp always sounded airy rather than an abundance of woody tones!
