I have seen different variations on the bias pot wiring on the Express and the schematic and layout differ as well. The wiper goes to the 10uf cap to ground right? One leg goes to the resistor. There are different ways to do this and the build guide is not clear either.
Any help would be appreciated.

hello mark
how you described the wireing is how I have it in my express ,47k feeding the input of the pot and the wiper going to the 10 uf capacitor ,it works fine.

Re: Need help with Express bias pot wiring
Does the other leg also go to ground?
Re: Need help with Express bias pot wiring
I didn't ground it
Re: Need help with Express bias pot wiring
Mark,
Ground the other leg. There has been some discussion about this in other threads.
If you don't ground the other leg and your wiper fails (said to be unlikely??) your bias goes bye-bye. With the other leg grounded your bias will max out and save your finals.

In the 60's people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird , and they take Prozac to make it normal.

Thanks guys I noted that in the build guide Ron mentioned that but I see many versions and the layout hides the actuall wiring?

well I guess I'll be grounding that leg also, thanks gahult.
