ok, I'll bite. No wood yet - that happens when you first fire it up.

Looking good, the amp that is. I've been loving my Rocket. I am ready to give away an AC15 I built a while back, although it does have a tremolo I really like.

This turned out nicely. I hate how everyone has something for you to change!

I wanted to be the only asscrust....

Where ever leads pass through a hole in sheet
metal one would do well to protect them from abrasion or worse, cutting through the insulation.
I use rubber grommets where the size hole permits and braided
polyester tubing with heat shrink on each end when a grommet isn't available.

You'll be the hit of your neighborhood when you fire this up and keep jamming for
another hour or so! Tell them [or John Law] there is no charge for the concert.
You may want to tell the cops this from behind your closed door.

Best wishes,

Noel Grassy.

Noel Grassy,

That was mentioned before in another post and is good advice but at this point some electrical tape could be used or as others posted they don't use any protection either. :?

NO PROTECTION

No wood meant no head cab built yet.
I did not use rubber grommets but I wet sanded to holes nice, round and smooth to about 600 grit...that should do just fine.

one small detail overlooked

Just to point out, Preamp tube wires should be at 90degree when passing over or under each other. Also, heater wires to your power amp tubes should be twisted, if not this may cause some hum. Dont mean to sound like a know it all, i just want you to have the best amp you can. Thanks

Forgive me if this has been mentioned or if I am totally missing it.
Also, I don't know squat about Trainwrecks, but when I compared your amp to the visio layout, I am not seeing R31 & R32?

The two 100K ohm 3 watt resistors that stand up on end by the filter caps.

Like I said, if they are there somewhere or you don't need them then disregard.

Don't let that smoke out!

Greg very nice amp. Did you want to go with bleeder resistors on your caps to ground as they are missing right now.
