Beautifully done Gary, very discreet build and layout. I like the black accent with the tube shields and your version of the voltage control circuit. The name stamped into the chassis is a nice touch. Can't wait t'hear it go!
It sounds good. I don't have the feedback I get with the guitar plugged into my Express. Why, I don't know but, it doesn't seem as sensitive in that regard.
I do seem to have an issue with the brite switch. I don't notice much change in sound in any position.
If anyone has some input on that I would appreciate it.
Thanks again,
Gary
In the 60's people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird , and they take Prozac to make it normal.
Nice build as usual there. I just got home, I had been trying to open these pictures at work and of course they blocked them on me. So you have the VVR on the back side to keep the traditional Liverpool look, right? Nice amps your family will be able to pass down, Gary.
Yes, I put the VVR back there for that reason. I figure once I set the level I'm pretty much good to go. Heck, I can always reach back the to crank it up...or down some.
I did it the same way on my Express but, I did put it up front on the Rocket as there is the extra hole.

I miss playing my amps but they say the river is going to crest at 43 feet this time which is higher then what Fargo/Moorhead already went through. I got the equipment out of the basement crammed in right behind my office chair hard to turn around.
The sewer manhole covers blew off near my buddy's house so I have my sewer plug ready just incase they start backing up again. The area I live in is high and dry but sewer backup is the main problem. Should move back to Phoenix.
Great lookin' amp I like the way you put the IEC in at 45 degrees. I put mine in at 90 degrees, but had to do a little trimming.
Not many of us can build 'em that nice with just one arm
Get well soon
