The Worley BOM has a Tweakers Kit table on both the "Resistors" tab and "Capacitors" tab. I assume that one can "tweak" the circuit with these different values for the caps and resistors. For example, on C8 of the Express schematic (2-3 stage coupling) one can use a higher value to change the low fequency response of the amp. Correct?
I built my Express "copy exact" to the schematic and it rocks hard through my 4 X 12 Pre-Rola loaded Marshall!
That said, what are other interesting tweaks one can do to the various stages of the Express?
Thanks Gearhead and Ron! My inquiry into he "tweaks" is motivated by the desire to customize tone based on speaker choice. I understand that Ken would design an amplifier circuit with the speaker in mind and tune around that.
I would like to ask you experienced amp builders if you could share your thoughts on this subject. Rather than matching speakers to the amp, can I tune my amp circuit to the speaker? Celestion Blues work well with this cap in stage "X" or G12H 30's work well with resistor value in stage "X".
