Rocket voltage

Post by andrew »

Hello all, I am using a Moose PT, Hammond 158L choke and here are my preamp voltages: P1-6= 195 P1-1=130 P2-1=205 P3-1=195 P3-6=142 B+4 and B+5 are both 204 Compared to the Rocket Voltage Chart I look way off on P1-6 ( the one with a 220k resistor) Should I change the 220K resistor to bring the voltage down? Iam using two JJs and a Tungsol in the PI. Thanks.

No volt drop across the plate resistor?

I would check the stage ground first and mayb swap tubes. Check all connections associated with V1a and verify continuity.
